The Body Shop has brought back their recycling scheme, and it is bigger than ever as it’s now available in all their stores in West Malaysia and Sabah.
You can bring in hard-to-recycle packaging including bottles, pipettes, pumps, mascaras, and lip glosses.
Just make sure that they are emptied, cleaned, and dried. These products will be handed over to The Sea Monkey Project to be repurposed and given another life.
Take note, though, that products that are classified as hazardous or flammable like perfume bottles and accessories can’t be accepted.

Bring back our bottles campaign

Those who are in the know may have already heard about The Body Shop’s bottle recycling campaign.
Simply back your empty The Body Shop bottles to a store to get a RM1 discount on your next purchase of the same type of product (i.e., a shower gel for a shower gel) on the same day.
Unfortunately, this RM1 discount cannot be accumulated and can only be used for one product.
You can also collect stamps with every plastic bottle returned, and once you have collected 10, you can redeem one free Fragrancer.
However, this campaign is not valid at the Sarawak locations as well as the Johor Premium Outlet. You also cannot use the discount on any sale items.

Refill your favourite shower gel and shampoo in store

Another thing we are really excited about is that there will be more refill stations at The Body Shop stores nationwide! At these stations, you can refill on haircare products and shower gels from The Body Shop’s best-loved ranges.
Keep an eye out for the luscious Almond Milk and Honey shower gel as well as Ginger and Shea ranges of shampoo.
Just remember to clean out your refillable aluminium bottle and dry it before you pop into the store for your refill. Tip: leave the bottle to dry upside down; it’s faster that way.
