Continue reading to learn how she ensures her skin is always prepared and ready for the camera, day in and day out.
Step 1: She Washes Her Hands

The first and most crucial step in Risabae’s skincare routine is cleansing, but she begins by washing her hands to avoid transferring any dirt from her hands to her face.
Step 2: She Removes Her Makeup Thoroughly

Everyone is familiar with the challenge of stubborn mascara and eyeliner that just won’t come off. As she puts it, “If you wear heavy eye makeup, use a mascara remover.”
She carefully brushes through her lashes with the wand before wiping it on the back of her hand. Then, she uses her finger to apply the product from her hand to her lower lashline for a complete cleanse.

For her face, Risabae employs an oil cleanser, gently massaging her skin in circular motions and alternating directions every few seconds. She stresses that cleansing against the direction of skin pores and peach fuzz is essential for a thorough clean.
After removing makeup from her cheeks, nose, and chin, Risabae uses a wipe to clean her eyes. The hosts express their admiration, noting that this careful step prevents the dreaded “panda eyes” from leftover eye makeup.
Step 3: She Double-Cleanses for a Clean Canvas
Once her makeup is removed, Risabae rinses the oil off her face before proceeding with her foam cleanser. She generates a rich lather between her hands and massages it into her face, ensuring a deep clean.

The last phase of her cleansing routine prompts inquiries from the hosts, with one of them questioning, “I thought you’re meant to splash your face with cold water to close the pores?”
Risabae clarifies that both hot and cold temperatures can shock the skin, suggesting warm water as a better option. She gently massages her face using her palms and fingers, creating a calming cleansing routine that minimises irritation.
Step 4: She Focuses on Hydration
After cleansing, while many of us grab a towel to dry off, Risabae opts for a different method. She states, “Towels carry dust, so I avoid using them on my face.” Instead, she sprays her face with Avène Thermal Spring Water and allows it to air dry.

Following that, she uses a toner pad to provide a boost of hydration, then applies a wash-off mask, spreading it thinly across her face.
“I’m at the age where I need barrier repair,” Risabae humorously comments. She also takes care of her lips by applying a layer of lip mask before proceeding with her evening routine, which includes cleaning her makeup brushes, having dinner, and replying to her YouTube comments.
