When we first laid eyes on this “buttery cheek cake” on our social feeds, we seriously thought for a good while that it was a food item.
It was only after swiping right to see the rest of the pictures that we realised it was actually a gorgeous “milk tea” shade blush! Needless to say, we immediately fell in love with the creamy colour.
This is the Skinfood Buttery Cheek Cake in #06 Apricot Chou, a soft blusher described as being not too glossy and not too matte.
These blushers are so deliciously named because of their unique “spread butter” formula that makes them feel just like soft and fine buttery powder.
There is no need to worry about this blusher looking too heavy on the skin, as it is lightweight and adheres to the skin to give you a subtle yet buildable glow that lasts all day long.
You’ve got to love how it comes in a beautiful and sturdy vintage-styled tin. It really reminds us of the retro, almost cottage-core aesthetic.
If you’re thinking of collecting more buttery blushers, you’ll be happy to know that there are seven other shades, ranging from dusty pinks to pearlescent nude browns. If you ask us, the pale orange tones of #05 Maple Ginger makes it a close second favourite for us!
The Skinfood Buttery Cheek Cake retails for RM95 on Shopee.
