If you’ve said yes to all of these questions, you might be the perfect candidate L’Oreal Paris is looking for!

Introducing the L’Oréal Star Search competition, where one Malaysian will be selected to win two tickets to the French capital of Paris.

That’s not the only prize up for grabs though, as there’s room for five contestants to be awarded contracts to be the brand’s live streamers on Shopee – and that’s on top of a cash prize of RM5,000 each!

The competition is part of a collaboration with Shopee after a series of successful stories selling on the Shopee Live Platform.

Tran Hoa, the Marketing Manager of L’Oréal Paris in Malaysia, said the competition is following impressive results after participating in an 11-hour live streaming program during the Shopee 11.11 Big Sale.

L’Oréal is planning to discover talents to create a pool of live streamers for the brand, while also training potential candidates and equip them with necessary skills to compete in the competition.

From now to 28 February 2022, Malaysians aged 18 and above are invited to submit their applications to showcase their talent and come up with creative content campaigns for L’Oréal Paris products like the newly launched Glycolic Bright.

Selected applicants will be attending an exclusive workshop with the brand to learn more about their products, gain insights from a Shopee Live host, and learn the ropes of livestreaming before officially competing in the L’Oréal Star Search competition from 3 March till 16 March 2022.

The brand also hopes to nurture talent among Malaysians by giving them the freedom to be creative and create their own content featuring L’Oréal Paris products, whether it be in the form of tutorials, talk shows, unboxings, and more.

Kenneth Soh, the Head Marketing Campaigns at Shopee Malaysia, mentions that Shopee hopes that this competition will be a success in sourcing the best talent and be a stepping stone for individuals who are keen to try live streaming.
