Many businesses have faced the wrath of the pandemic — and Les Merveilleuses Ladurée is, unfortunately, one of them.

According to WWD Japan, Japanese cosmetic company Albion announced that it will be terminating its license agreement with them by the end of December 2021.

For the uninitiated, Les Merveilleuses Ladurée is a cosmetic line from legendary French patisserie Ladurée since 2013. They are renowned for their gorgeous petal-shaped blushers as well as the stunning couture packaging of all of their cosmetic products.

On the other hand, Albion is responsible for the commercial success of brands like Anna Sui Cosmetics and Paul & Joe Beaute.

This news comes as no surprise ever since its bakery counterpart Ladurée shut down all of its physical stores worldwide last year.

All nine department stores, 39 specialty stores, and official e-commerce sites will stop carrying Les Merveilleuses’s products by the end of June 2022.

Before the brand is gone for good, we advise you to stock up on your favourite products from the official store on LazMall now as we expect their cult following to do the same.
