K-beauty brand Etude has collaborated with the Italian wafer brand Loacker to release a makeup collection. Each product pays tribute to the iconic wafer brand from packaging to product to naming.
These makeup products look so convincing, it has unlocked a hidden desire in us to collect more food-inspired beauty products.

ETUDE Play Color Eyes Mini
If you weren’t looking closely, you might be tempted to take a bite out of these eyeshadows – and we’re seriously in love with how delicious yet simple they look.
These eyeshadows look so much like wafers especially since they’ve got different coloured creams in between each one of them.
Each eyeshadow palette has several different neutral colours, all suitable to create soft and natural everyday looks with.
You can easily play around with the matte and shimmer shades.
Napolitaner (the top eyeshadow) is our favourite. It is named after the classic Loacker wafer flavour and has soft brown shades that remind us of milk tea.
Even the eyeshadow names are playful and fun, from top to bottom:
- Napolitaner – Biscuit crumbs, fantastic chemistry, sugar recharge, hazelnut chocolate
- Vanilla – Vanilla cream, crunch wafers, my favourite biscuit, coffee combos
- Rapsberry yogurt – Berry yogurt, sugar topping, sweet home café, raspberry chocolate

ETUDE Sweet Layer Blusher
Engraved with the patterns of a wafer to mimic toasty brown wafers, these blushers look good enough to eat if not for the powdery texture.
There are two versions of this blusher, the pale beige is called Vanilla while the soft brown one is called Napolitaner.
Perfect pairings to the Loacker eyeshadows, we can easily imagine these blushers doubling as eyeshadows, especially the Napolitaner one.

ETUDE Sweet Layer Tint
We feel that a makeup collection isn’t complete without an accompanying lippie, so we were glad to see that the Etude x Loacker collection also includes the ETUDE Sweet Layer Tint to round it up.
Again, this tint comes in two different versions. The darker red is Napolitaner while the pale pink shade is the Vanilla one. We can’t help but wonder whether they perhaps smell like the flavours they are named after.

The Etude House x Loacker collection will be releasing exclusively on Shopee very soon. If you want to get the products on other platforms like Lazada, Etude Online, and Zalora, you’re going to have to wait until March.
