It’s clear that Emily is no longer the same character we met in Season 1, and her makeup is a definite sign of that transformation.

On the other hand, Emily’s best friend Mindy showcased a more distinct American beauty with sharp contours and fun touches like rhinestones.

And let’s not forget the other bold female characters, Camille and Sylvie, who embrace bolder looks, creatively mixing French and American styles. What a feast for the eyes, celebrating beauty in every way!

Standout Beauty Moments We Love From Emily in Paris Season 4

One of the most memorable beauty moments in season four, we thought, was when Emily rocked the glossy blue eyeshadow and a bold orange-red lip to complement a striking Balmain leather dress.

This look, inspired by red carpet glam, features a wet-look eyeshadow and vibrant colours, making it one of the season’s most dramatic beauty statements.

To create the look, makeup artist Aurélie Payen made sure Emily’s skin stayed glowing by setting up a strict skincare routine for Lily Collins.

Working with Foreo, Payen used high-quality tools like the Luna Cleansing Brush, which she calls to be “life-changing.”

Beau Domain’s Fluid Cream

Collins also used serum from a French brand, Mimétique, Beau Domain’s Fluid Cream, and other products to keep her complexion radiant.

Talika’s sheet masks and eye patches were essential for keeping the skin looking flawless.

Beauty Products Behind Emily’s Look in Season 4

For a true Parisian look, Payen relies on several standout products:

Dior Rouge Dior in 999 was Payen’s go-to red lipstick for its versatile matte finish and perfect texture.

To achieve a natural, glowy complexion on Emily in Season 4, Payen focused on using Clé de Peau and Chanel Vitalumière Aqua  foundations (RM274) to create a radiant base.

For extra coverage where needed, she turned to Dior or Laura Mercier concealers, ensuring Emily’s skin looked flawless and naturally luminous.

One tip that Payen gives for achieving that French Girl foundation look is to use a brush instead of a sponge. Applying foundation with a brush helps the skin absorb the makeup more evenly, giving you a smoother and more natural finish.

It’s a great way to avoid a heavy, cakey look and keep your complexion looking fresh and radiant.

In this new season, you can also expect plenty of no-makeup moments in Emily’s everyday look, alongside the usual bold and colourful styles. To create a more dramatic effect, makeup artist, Payen used Makeup by Mario Mattes eyeshadow palette (RM329) to contour her lips and a burgundy-brown lipstick (RM185) from the brand.

“Contouring the lips makes the lip colour look a bit darker than it is, so it almost appeared black,” Payen explains.

To channel Emily’s Parisian beauty, Payen suggests embracing classic French beauty elements like a radiant, glowy complexion, a striking red lip, sleek black eyeliner, and plenty of mascara.

If a bold red lip seems too daring, start with a light application of lipstick for a softer effect and gradually build up to a more intense shade as you get more comfortable.

This way, you’ll feel stylish and confident, just like Emily.
