Founded in 1987, Aesop began when Dennis Paphitis opened Emeis, a hair salon in Melbourne. The founder decided to blend essential oils into hair products and started sharing samples with his customers. Gradually, he took things to the next level and launched Aesop.
A few years ago, Dennis decided to sell off Aesop to Brazilian company Natura Cosmeticos while maintaining his role as an advisor. Formulated with quality plant-based and laboratory-made ingredients, Aesop rose in the ranks of popularity.
