Chinese A-lister Fan Bingbing is probably one of the most recognised Asian actresses in the world.

She has been listed as the highest-paid celebrity in the Forbes China Celebrity 100 list for many consecutive years and was notably in X-Men: Days of Future Past in 2014.

Recently, the actress received a lot of attention on Chinese social media by losing a shocking 6kg within a single week.

The Internet is seriously shaken by the serious amount of weight lost within such a short amount of time.

The weight-loss plan that Fan Bingbing followed requires fasting for long periods of time.

On the first day, she drank apple cider vinegar in the morning and a lot of water throughout the day.

For the first three days, she would also drink lemon and passionfruit juice. On the fourth day, she would drink red jujube water to replenish her qi.

Sometimes she would also drink a little protein powder and water to gain some energy, but otherwise she would not touch any food other than liquid during these seven days.

Apart from dieting, she also walked vigorously for several kilometres throughout the week as her chosen exercise.

Despite some slight heart palpitations after walking for a long time on the last day, she said that she was otherwise completely fine. She said that she even felt that her skin was in a much better condition.

After the fast, one must be cautious while eating again, as eating too fast or too much can easily hurt your stomach and regain the weight you lost.

She recommended to take a little protein during the first two days after the fast, and start by eating a small amount of vegetables, fruits, milk, and yogurt on the third day.

For Fan BingBing, she ate a little steamed chicken cake and drank some protein powder and water. Slowly, she increased the amount of food she ate at each meal.

While this fasting method is very effective at losing weight, everyone’s physique is different. It might be best to observe your initial days of fasting or consult a professional before attempting this weight-loss plan.
