Wearing masks is something we have to accept as time goes on and new Covid variants rear their ugly heads.

But don’t you wish you could look cuter while having a bulky mask over your face? Well now you can easily achieve a V-shaped face while wearing a mask, and the difference is astonishing!

There’s no sculpting or dieting or surgical procedures required – all you need are a couple of minutes and some tape. It’s super easy and quick.

Check out our step-by-step guide on how to perform this simple mask hack.

Step 1: Prepare your tools

The very first step is to prepare your materials. You’ll need:

  • A mask
  • Some double-sided tape
  • A pair of scissors

Step 2: Fold the mask in half

Fold your mask directly down the middle, where the mask is going to sit at the bridge of your nose.

Step 3: Locate the three folds on the mask

Find the three folds on your mask, which will expand to fit your face later.

Step 4: Cut out a piece of tape

Cut out a small piece of tape about the size of a fingernail – you basically want this to fit the folds of the mask.

If you’re unsure how short to make the tape, refer to the next step to see what it will be used for.

Step 5: Stick the piece of tape between the folds

Place the tape between the edge of the first and third folds. It’s supposed to fit the rough length of the fold, so you might want to trim it if it’s too long.

Step 6: Press down firmly

Now take the top and bottom folds and press them together firmly. Make sure the folds do not come apart easily.

Step 7: Repeat on the other side

Repeat steps three to six on the other side of the mask, and make sure you’ve done both sides using the same fold because if it’s not even, it would look a bit odd.

Step 8: Put on your mask

With that, all that’s left to do is put the mask on, and ta-dah, you’ve achieved a better fit that shows off your V-shaped face. V-shaped faces tend to appear slimmer, with a defined jawline and chin, and have a youthful, elegant look to them.

Here’s the difference between wearing a mask normally (pictured on the left) and wearing a mask with the hack (pictured on the right). As you can see, the difference is night and day.

The one on the left almost appears messy and unkempt while the one on the right has an elegant, feminine feel to it.

What’s great is that this hack also prevents more air from going in the mask, allowing you to feel extra safe.

We love this beauty tip and we’re going to keep using it from now on so we can show off how good we look in our masks. We’re saying goodbye to untidy masks and hello to the V-shaped face we’ve always wanted.
