If you’ve noticed that your everyday eye makeup makes your peepers appear smaller, we’ve got just the trick to share.
Through contouring and highlighting the eyes with eyeshadow, your eyes can look naturally enlarged and depuffed. Plus, it can be done in five simple steps!
Keep reading to learn how to do this super practical eyeshadow method to make your eyes appear three times bigger.
Step 1: Eye shadow contouring
First, locate an eyeshadow palette with earthy tones of brown and pink.
Select the light brown shade for your eyeshadow’s contouring. Use the nose bridge, tops of the eyes, and the brows as reference points.
In this triangle-shaped area, contouring and smudging are things you should perform. The remaining eyeshadow extends from the outer corner of the eye to the outer corner of the brow.
Step 2: Brightening with an off-white colour
The next step is to use a light, off-white colour to highlight the brow bone, the inner side of the eye socket, under the eyes, and the triangle area at the tail of the eye.
After this step, you should see that the three-dimensional eye contour has gradually emerged.
Step 3: Applying the main colour
The next stage is to highlight the brow bone, the inner side of the eye socket, under the eyes, and the triangular area at the tail of the eye using a light, off-white colour.
You should now be able to notice the gradual emergence of the three-dimensional eye contour.
Step 4: Darkening with more eyeshadow
You can use the eyeshadow precision brush to apply the dark brown eyeshadow near the base of the eyelashes after applying your main colour.
Then, use a flat eyeshadow brush and some setting spray to add extra eyeshadow to the lower lid and lash line.
Step 5: Enhancing the aegyo sal
The fat pocket located just below the eye, known as aegyo sal, might help you look younger and cheery.
The aegyo sal‘s shadow line is drawn with light brown eyeshadow in the last phase. To deepen the shadow, lightly add more eyeshadow to the outer corner of your eye.
Your swollen eyes will instantly appear bigger and brighter in the mirror, without any need for surgery!
