Multipurpose beauty hacks and tips can come in handy to make life a little easier, especially when it comes to those long days when you just want to collapse on the couch.

Thankfully, lazy Redditors from r/AsianBeauty got our backs as they’ve recently shared a bunch of tips that are great for cutting down beauty routines.

We’ve done the work and compiled a list of the best beauty tips for lazy days, so that when the time does come, we’ll be ready a lot quicker for that well-deserved nap.

Cleansing with only water every morning

There were many Redditors that revealed that instead of using a facial cleanser every morning, they simply wash their face with water. Also known as “water cleansing“, this is a skincare tip that has been trending hard lately.

However, they still use the double cleansing method to remove all the day’s impurities every night, regardless of how lazy they feel.

Facial cleanse and brush your teeth in the shower

If you’re the type of person who showers the first thing every morning, you might be able to save some time by cleaning your face and brushing your teeth while you are washing your hair.

But this method might not be ideal if you shower in hot water and have acids or actives in your cleanser, as it might end up more irritating.

Pouring your toner into a mist bottle for easy application

While not every toner comes in a mist bottle, we have to admit that those that do are a lot easier to use, as you can just spritz it on your face and be done with it.

By pouring your toner into a mist bottle, you not only save time on patting it dry, but you also prevent the chance of liquid spilling everywhere.

Applying only a mist and sunscreen

We were almost shocked to see that one Redditor only uses a mist and a sunscreen every morning – talk about saving on time and product.

After water cleansing, she applies a hydrating mist onto her face and pats it dry before using sunscreen. At the end of the day, she double cleanses and follows up with toner and mist.

Using products that work for both the body and face

One Redditor shared that whenever she goes travelling, she loves to minimise her luggage space and beauty routine by packing a cleanser and a moisturiser that can be used on both the body and face.

This is one lazy hack that we almost had to smack our heads and go, “Why didn’t we think of that?!”. Similarly, you could go for an all-in-one shampoo and conditioner, or all over hair and body shampoo.

Slapping on a one-minute sheet mask that involves every skincare step

Those familiar with Japanese skincare brands might already know of the 3-in-1 performing face mask brand that is Saborino.

Suitable for daily use, the Saborino face masks act as a cleanser, moisturiser, and primer all at once. Currently, there are several different types, each designed for different skincare concerns.

Incorporating makeup or moisturiser with SPF

We’re not talking about replacing your sunscreen with makeup or moisturiser with SPF here, as we’ve already covered that SPF foundations do not provide as much sun protection as a dedicated sunscreen.

The idea here is to incorporate makeup or moisturisers with SPF in addition to your sunscreen. This would allow you to have extra sunscreen protection and also means you don’t have to reapply as often.

Adding colour using only lip and cheek tints

One Redditor shared that instead of using eyeshadow and blusher, she reaches for her lip and cheek tints whenever she wants to add colour to her face.

This tip almost reminds us of the sweet girl blush method, which is a trend that involves using lip tints to create the most effortless glow.

Eliminate the need of lathering with washcloths with BHA

For those of you who are so tired that you can’t be bothered with using washcloths and would rather just sit there, this is a tip you might want to try.

Just add a body wash with BHA such as the Some By Mi AHA BHA PHA 30 Day Miracle Acne Clear Body Cleanser to your shower routine and say goodbye to both rigorous lathering and ingrown hairs. One thing though: don’t use BHA products on your sensitive bits.

Scented body cream or deodorant instead of perfume

Instead of using a perfume and a body lotion, why not get the best of both worlds with scented body cream or deodorant?

Some fragrances already have a body cream variant, such as the Jo Malone London Lime Basil & Mandarin Body & Hand Lotion, which means you can still go around smelling like your signature scent.
