Cabin crew from across the world have been sharing their tips on how to look flawless during long hour flights. Similar to many of us, they too have tested and tried a variety of tricks to stay flawless and here’s their take on it.
Ex-Singapore Airlines Flight Attendant’s Makeup Routine
A former flight attendant from Singapore Airlines recently shared her makeup routine on TikTok, offering some handy tips on how to pair eyeshadows and blush effectively. For instance, she suggests pairing blue eyeshadow with a pink blush for a vibrant look. If you’re using brown eyeshadow, coral pink or orange blush works beautifully.
When it comes to eyeshadow application, she recommends using at least three shades to create a gradient effect and blending them well for a seamless finish.

And to make your eyes pop, she recommends applying at least three coats on both upper and lower lashes: This really enhances your eyes, adding volume and length to your lashes for a dramatic effect.
For long-lasting lipstick, she swears by using a lip liner. Her hack? Don’t just outline your lips—fill them in entirely with the lip liner before applying your lipstick. This not only defines your lips but also helps your lipstick stay put longer.
Exact Products Cabin Crew Uses for Long-Haul Flights
Another flight attendant, @annetotally took it a step further by sharing the exact products she uses in her “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) video.

She begins by prepping her skin with Origins GinZing™ Ultra-Hydrating Energy-Boosting Cream, ensuring her complexion stays fresh and moisturised. Next, she applies a good amount of Fairy Skin Sunscreen – because sunscreen is a must, especially when you’re high above ground and the sun is brighter.

To tackle under eye circles, she relies on the LA Pro Corrector, which effectively brightens and conceals any signs of fatigue, helping her look well-rested even after a long flight.

Next, she primes her face with Celeteque Primer, noting that it’s unfortunately not available in Malaysia. She then applies her favorite foundation, NARS Long Radiant Foundation, for a flawless base. To add a healthy glow, she uses Colourette bronzer in the shade Jordyn, giving her complexion a sun-kissed finish.

She continues by applying L’Oreal Infallible Concealer for additional coverage. For a pop of colour and a radiant glow, she uses the Smashbox L.A. Lights Blush & Highlight Palette.

Finally, she sets her entire look with Laura Mercier Loose Setting Powder, ensuring her makeup stays in place throughout the flight. For her eyes, she creates a stunning brown-gold look using the Huda Beauty Nude Obsessions Eyeshadow Palette and a Smashbox eyeshadow palette.

She enhances her eyes further with BYS White Eyeliner, making them pop. After curling her lashes, she applies Kiss Me Heroine Mascara for long, curled lashes that last.
